Case Study | Booze Barn

The floor plan of the space presented a unique challenge with an angled back wall that made for a very tight sales floor. Working with the Markham staff, DisplayMax created a layout that utilized the space efficiently while creating focused product-selling zones.

The dominant element in the floor plan design is a 12’ tall x 20’ wide liquor wall in Lozier charcoal black gondola with a rolling track ladder made of oak. This provided a great deal of shelf space for displaying a wide selection of spirits while providing easy access to top-shelf bottles. To add focus and drama to the liquor display, LED lights were mounted under each shelf. These lights illuminated every bottle on the shelf below and provided much-needed light behind the sales counter.

The gondola on the sales floor features novelty products and an end cap that featured Lozier’s new wine display components. These new components give the store owner many options to merchandise bottles of wine in a strategic location as the customer enters the store.

Widespan wire shelving is utilized in the new walk-in cooler and beer cave. This system of heavy-duty racking gives superior holding power and strength without compromising display space. Being an angled cooler footprint there were areas on each end that required a solution to make the space sellable. So DisplayMax supplied sturdy plastic dunnage racks that hold cases of popular beer brands. With these display solutions, the entire beer cave is selling products.
